The Advantage of Harendong

Melastoma affine also known as Harendong  (Sundanese)   senggani,  senduduk (Malay) , kluruk (Java), kemanden (Madura), and yeh mu tan (China) is a herbaceous plant of the family MelastomataceaeSenggani leaves contain saponins, flavonoids, and tannins, so this plants is useful in helping accelerate the healing of chicken pox disease.


Harendong efficacious to overcome:
  1. indigestion of food (dispepsi), bacillary dysentery, diarrhea,
  2. hepatitis,
  3. vaginal discharge (leukorrhea), thrush,
  4. excessive menstrual bleeding, uterine bleeding outside the menstrual period,
  5. nosebleeds, blood stools (melena), bleeding hemorrhoids,
  6. inflammation of the walls of blood vessels with blood clots in the channel (thromboangitis),
  7. breast milk (ASI) is not smooth,
  8. cassava poisoning, drunk liquor,
  9. dropsy,
  10. abscess

SPIDER

Many spider species found in Indonesia. I like this beautiful creature, they are awesome. They look like robot and sometime UFO. That's why the spider inspired so many people to manufacture the mechanical equipment similar to it.

1. Mini spider, I don't know the species name exactly, so if you have any idea about the scientific name, please share it. It has small size; about 8 mm length. I took this photograph on May 14 at the Campus of Bogor Agriculutral University in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia.


2. Lancah Maung (Tiger Spider), that's the Sundanese people called this creature.
